COMPUTING AT THE EDGE
COLLECT, DETECT, PROTECT, ACT
FEBRUARY 22, 2023 | ARMY NAVY COUNTRY CLUB - ARLINGTON
Overview
Join AFCEA DC for an in-depth dialogue with our panel of experts as they illuminate and demystify Computing at the Edge. Edge computing has a wide range of applications in the internet of things (IOT) from unmanned driving, traffic flow congestion, and real-time urban traffic data processing but how can we narrow this concept to ensure we have the upper hand in the battlefield.
The panel will define and dig into the complexities, issues, and advantages of having information technology architecture closer to where missions are executed to better meet data demands, including how we define compute at the edge, how policy and doctrine can affect mission execution, and what the future of Edge looks like for the US Government.
By bringing compute and storage capabilities closer to the data sources, there is potential for the US Government to drastically change the approach to warfighting. Be part of this important discussion, register today!
