Chief Electronics Technician Sean Lee is currently assigned to the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) in Portsmouth, Virginia. Serving in the Sensors and Electronics Branch, Chief Lee delivers engineering support to Coast Guard Cutters, focusing on fleet-wide integration of the Scalable Integrated Navigation System 2 (SINS-2) and Automatic Identification System 2 (AIS-2).
Chief Lee’s previous assignments include Education and Training Quota Management, Norfolk, VA; USCGC Frank Drew, Portsmouth, VA; USCGC George Cobb, San Pedro, CA; USCGC Legare, Portsmouth, VA; MK-92 Weapons School, Yorktown, VA; Electronic Support Detachment Galveston, TX.
A native of Yuma, Arizona, Chief Lee enlisted in the Coast Guard in 2007. His awards include five Coast Guard Achievement Medals and a Commandant's Letter of Commendation. He is a graduate of the Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer’s Academy and the Air Force Noncommissioned Officer Academy. In his free time, he enjoys playing with his son, working on home improvement projects, and spending time with his wife, Olivia.
