Lieutenant Junior Grade Christopher Edington is assigned to the Transport Platform Section within the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence Service Center, where he supports the development and deployment of advanced, expeditionary 5G communications capabilities for Coast Guard operations. His work focuses on integrating secure, resilient, zero trust–aligned 5G architectures to enable reliable connectivity in austere and maritime environments.

Previously, he served as Chief of Intelligence at Sector Northern New England, where he led intelligence operations in support of maritime security and mission execution. He earned his commission through Officer Candidate School following prior enlisted service as a Corpsman.

LTJG Edington holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity. His professional focus includes cyber-enabled communications, deployable network architecture, and the integration of emerging technologies to enhance operational effectiveness.
