TSgt Douglas P. Crisp is NCOIC, Strategic Data Processing Center at 595th Strategic Communications Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base Nebraska. In his position, he oversees a 13-Airman workcenter operating a 5-million dollar strategic messaging network, safeguarding the data integrity of 147 million annual messages. His leadership provides real-time network status reporting, directly supporting United States Strategic Command and President of the United States strategic deterrence missions, directly arming 150 thousand joint warfighters with nuclear command and control communications capabilities.
TSgt Crisp originates from White Haven, Pennsylvania. In April 2011 he entered active duty as a Client Systems Technician. After completion of technical training in September 2011, he was stationed at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, United Kingdom and assigned to the 100th Communications Squadron. In 2013, he was among the first US forces to deploy to Moron Air Base, Spain in support of French combat operations against Islamist militants in Mali. TSgt Crisp has over 15 years of military service time. His background includes various duties in the Client Systems career field and includes a joint tour at NATO headquarters. His assignments include bases in Utah and Nebraska as well as internationally in England, Portugal, and Belgium. Prior to his current position, TSgt Crisp was the Section Chief of Special Missions, 595th SCS, Offutt AFB, Nebraska.
