Master Sergeant D’Angelo A. Cloud is a Cybersecurity Engineer assigned to Mission Delta 4 (MD 4) at Buckley Space Force Base. In this role, he leads the integration of defensive cyber capabilities across the missile warning enterprise, strengthening the security posture of critical space-based and ground-based systems while effectively advocating cybersecurity priorities to senior, risk-averse, stakeholders.
Mission Delta 4 operates and sustains three constellations of Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) satellites and two ground-based radar (GBR) systems, delivering strategic and theater missile warning in support of the United States and allied partners worldwide. Master Sergeant Cloud’s efforts directly enhance the resilience and integrity of these mission-critical capabilities.
He holds an Associate of Applied Science in Electronics Systems Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Network Operations and Security, and a Master of Science in Information Technology Management. He has earned 14 industry certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Master Sergeant Cloud’s contributions have been recognized by senior leaders across the joint and international community. He has been formally coined by the Deputy Director for Net-Centric, Space & Missile Defense Systems, as well as 10 commanding officers representing four U.S. services and two allied services. In addition, he is a recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award, honoring his dedication of 133 hours to community service.
